THE YEAR 2015-16
- This year we began by celebrating one billion rising on 14thFeb by organising flash-mob and nukkad-natak at various places in jaipur like Albert hall, GT Central , Jawahar circle to spread awareness regarding women empowerment we began to show the brighter side of the society and how the society is changing positively in respect of girls. And throughout the year many flash mobs street-plays were showcased to show how India attained independence in jawahar circle and gt central. It was appreciated by masses.
- Then later we commenced on with road safety week and made an impact on people by spreading awareness about rules and regulations of roads and how we can control accidents by following the rules by presenting flash-mob, street- plays and workshop.
- We also conducted a survey in rural area nearby Jaipur (jamdoli) and in slum areas to see their awareness of government policies and explained them how they can benefit themselves.
- We also worked in neemuchkheda near Udaipur and we came across various social evils existing even today one of the testimony was of a female who had 8girls and she was pregnant with 9thtime in hope of a boy and she said if she doesn’t deliver a boy child her husband and her family will out cast her. After hearing such evils still exist in society we conducted various session and workshops for continuous 45 day that is the month of June and July during that period we trained their children in dance yoga and made few admissions in government school nearby. We continued with our awareness progress regarding government policies and how they can benefit themselves through these schemes.
- We also celebrated Daanutsav in the month of October from 2nd October to 8th October and organised campaign in the college and flash mob-to spread the message the joy of living it. And was covered by etv rajasthan, DNA and lokmat. We also organised workshops for specially able kids for tactile function during daanutsav.
- We organised street plays on different issues like women empowerment, feminism, sex education, menstruation in different colleges in November.
